The food here is amazing and the people are nice! I'm so glad I found this place! I have a gluten intolerance and I love the gluten free pancakes - I can't even tell they're GF (*the plate on the left) - and the potatoes are so good and perfectly seasoned! The first time I went to Syrup it was amazing. Today I took my family, and Im not sure if it was because we went around noon, they close at 1, but my food wasnt as great as the first time. My biscuits were pretty hard, and they looked like they were sitting in the expo window for awhile. My kids got the sweet cream pancakes, and those were my good. Im a restaurant manager, and I believe in sending out the same quality food at the end as we do at the beginning of service, and I was disappointed that I spent so much money, and my food was not the quality I paid for.

Cozy downtown breakfast spot. We went mid morning on a weekday. Not crowded, quick service. Wide variety of coffee creations to choose from. Had the sweet cream waffle with fresh berries: perfect size, light, and perfectly made. Also tried the salted caramel latte and thoroughly enjoyed this as well. Looking forward to another visit!
