image Worst and most dishonest auction Ive ever been to. Highly do not recommend.

image Attended this auction on 1/8/22 and the auctioneer was obviously "jumping" the bid up and assigning higher bids than what you raised your number for. Example: You raise your # to bid $10, he does a quick "other bidder" and while your lowering your number, looks back & acts like you bid $20 when you did not - or agree/confirm higher bid. I go to auctions all over Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. While this is set up to be a great auction, including good deals on items, the way he is obviously screwing around with his costumers (and the way he treats his helpers verbally) will make the last time he'll get my business, as well as me mentioning this to people who ask me about good auctions to go to. The worse case I saw last night was actually my daughter bidding on a freezer. She raised her number to bid $75 - he looked but didn't acknowledge her bid and quickly looked "somewhere" and said "One Hundred" & while she was already lowering her hand (obviously being out of bid process) he looked at her and assigned $125 that she NOT bid for - again, jumping the bid and not giving you any chance to agree, confirm, or much less give a real "bid". I'll consider not openly calling him out on it our fault and lesson learned. This obviously happened to the people in front of us also but I didn't realize until we left and had a chance to talk about what others were saying. Anyone who goes will notice he starts all bidding with "I've got $5 (which he absolutely does not! ). All auctions have a few bids that get scrambled for different reasons, but what's going on there is obviously getting them a reputation - the kind that eventually causes businesses to fold.....This was our third time to attend this auction and WILL BE THE LAST as I've definitely seen a consistent pattern.

image My first auction in years and I was excited and hoping to have a blast. However, the auctioneer repeatedly continued on past the bidding point and several people backed out because they hadn't meant to bid that much. It happened to me also, but I didn't find out until I went to pay that two of the items were higher than my actual bid. In addition, they had included someone else's ticket for an item I did not bid on. I had to pay the extra $10 for something someone else took home. (Thank God it was only a $10 item!) They said they would talk to the auctioneer and likely send me a check in the mail, but I never heard from them again. A second item I purchased (a speed charger) was missing a part. I thought I was bidding $10 on it, but he had apparently raised it to $20 before I could hide my number, so I ended up paying $20. I paid $9 for the missing part, so basically paid $30 for a used speed charger, which I could have gotten new for $30. Then the thing didn't work. I contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed the light should be on for safety reasons and not to use it. So next I called Haskell Auction and explained the issue. They said there are no refunds, but I reminded them that everything is supposed to be guaranteed to work also. Nobody even checked this charger apparently. Again, she said she would tell the auctioneer and someone would call me back. Nobody called. I am out $40 just for going to their auction and it spoiled the likelihood that I will trust auctions in the future. Thanks a bunch, Haskell Auction.
