        The park was great. Very hard to find the park there are two signs to the park. We found out the entrance was about 20 miles north of the first sign. Don’t try to find it in the dark like we did. Staff was great. Only thing they need to do is trim some of the trees so taller trailers can get around some areas.

        If you are hiking in the summer start before the sun rises. As you walk and climb the mesa the sunrise is remarkable. The breeze helps keep temperatures pleasant in the morning. But get down before 10 am. It's a pleasant hike. An antelope met me at the high point marker....that was remarkable for sure. Great way to start the day.
