Wow!! Long read but well worth it if you need drainage help. We have had major drainage issues since moving into this house (5+ years ago). We are a low spot in the neighborhood so all water comes through our yard. Add to that, we have thick clay soil and not a lot of fall room. We also have had major septic issues because the installer did not drill through the rock deep enough so we had to bring in heavy equipment to pull the tank, drill for 2 days and reset it. We have had several people come out to try and dry the yard enough to bring in heavy equipment but with the rain and saturation, all attempts failed until we got lucky enough to link up with Dale and his team. He said ours was one of worst he had seen but he saw hope. He assessed the situation brought out the laser level and said he could do it. I was skeptical at first because I know it had been years with no relief. It was so bad, water propagated up into the high areas and stayed there. Our boys have never been able to play in the yard since we moved in. Mowing was an insane challenge as even a small lawnmower would sink. Dale offered a phased approach in which he cut a ditch in the front of the yard. Water flowed like a river. We were floored. he said give that a few weeks to drain and we will go to phase 2. He never tried to up sell any services, in fact he tried all avenues to save us money. He never even asked for money until the job was done because he wanted to make sure we were satisfied. He gave us an estimate on the max amount up front and beat it by a good margin. (Don't remind him of that though). Once the yard dried out, we actually were able to play on it for the first time in years. It was a huge ray of hope. he quickly moved to phase 2 which consisted of removing the old french drain, which was poorly installed and he installed his own under drain. The yard was now dry enough and ready for the heavy equipment to do the septic reinstall. The septic company owned that and completed the job but left the yard in complete shambles. Once they left, Dale and crew came back in to regrade the yard. It looks absolutely amazing. We are having sod laid in the next few days to finish it off but I can tell you, Dale saved our yard, sanity and will allow us to make unforgettable memories playing in the yard with our boys. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Dale and his crew. We had a lot of excavation work that we needed help with including demolition of a house, barn, sheds as well as lots of tree cleanup. White Rock Excavating got the job done well and we are extremely pleased with their work. Responsive (actually answers his phone and gets back with you promptly!), honest and experienced. Highly recommend them!

This company was prompt, very efficient, hard working, and courteous. When they finished loading the dump truck, they completely cleaned and leveled the work area, including the tracks made by the loader. Extremely satisfied with their work.
