please do not ever go to this company to learn to fly....the instructors do not teach anything unless you are in the plane. The business plan is a cash cow for the company and they DO NOT CARE about the client. They depend on high school kids that don't know better. I left the school due to extremely bad business ethics and time management. There are 2 flight instructors that are worth way more than they are getting paid. Hayden and jodie are amazing and hopefully they will find jobs elsewhere that know their worth. There are instructors that won't hold ground classes because they don't get paid to do it. The only time I saw someone smile there was OUT OF RELIEF for passing an eval that they probably weren't ready for but were forced to do. IT'S A JOKE AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. if you bust twice on evals they get rid of you so their numbers don't look bad with drop outs. USE YOUR HEAD AND FIND ANOTHER FLIGHT SCHOOL THAT CARES ABOUT YOU AND MAKES IT FUN. DON'T MAKE A DECISION ON FINANCING ALONE!!!!

I started ATP in October of 2022, as a "credit private" student. I had some slight weather delays, but was still able to get all my rating extremely fast (7 months, give or take). I think the average length at other "mom and pop" schools is around 6 months to a year just for your private pilot license, so this is fast paced! I had to push myself, and grow as a person to complete the program. It has taught me the power of hard work and dedication. The instructors are great, and give the extra help if asked, but they aren't going to babysit you. This is a program in which you have to make this a priority. You get as much out of it, as you put in. Quit your job, and go to "work" full time as a student at atp. If you put in the effort, and work hard.. you will make it in the program. The program gives you a ton of resources to study, everything from "guided independent study" modules, to video chat style classes, to in person ground lessons with an instructor. You have detailed assignments before each lesson, known as "read, view, dos". You also have full access to the flight simulator (assuming it's not scheduled to someone else). ATP also has partnerships or cadet programs with the Airlines. These cadet programs can fast track you to your desired airline, with a clear path. (I chose a cadet program that puts me directly into an Airbus A320, once I hit my 1500) I get that it's an expensive education, but in this industry, time is money. If you sit and wait a few years to decide, you are loosing out on potential MILLIONS in earnings at the end of your career. My only regret is that I didn't start flight training sooner.
