I am happy to write this review as a recent graduate of their 141 instrument course. I was looking for specifically a Part 141 course in the OKC area, and can say now without a doubt I am glad I made that choice. This is a tight-run outfit, and I was impressed from day one. They did what they said they do - the airplanes are well maintained, the instructors are knowledgeable and flexible to my schedule. Yes, you'll be expected to put in your work to progress. But the syllabus is written to help you as a nascent pilot - and is strictly adhered to. All I can say is, if you come motivated and ready to work for your ratings - the staff will push as fast as you want/are capable of. Now that's not to say it wasn't expensive. But flight school in general is expensive. However, the school admin made me aware up front and was open and honest throughout. Invoicing was a breeze and exactly what I expected. Great school. Can't wait to continue on with commercial ratings.

Whether you are an experienced pilot or new student exploring the wonder of flight, I highly recommend Oklahoma Aviation to assist in achieving your goals. As a former Army helicopter pilot, the team at OKAV helped navigate my complicated flight history to determine the best path forward for obtaining my FAA SEL Fixed Wing Certificate (including High Performance and Complex). Sho Kassam took a personal interest in ensuring the flight training program and instructors were best suited for my background. Every instructor I flew with was exceptionally skilled and the transition from rotary to fixed wing was smooth. Most importantly, maintenance and safety of flight are top priorities at OKAV and I had full confidence in both the instructors and the aircraft we flew. When my oldest son decided to explore flying, it was an easy decision. Sho and the team at OKAV helped my son complete his PPL and he is headed off to the military to continue his dream of becoming a military aviator. Thanks, Oklahoma Aviation, for a safe and memorable training experience!
