So far I’ve found them to be courteous but they have a tendency to resort to pressure sales tactics (asking for shipping address and credit card information before showing the product, explaining the process, and discussing the costs involved).

DONT DO IT!! I tried theses aligners for a week and the completely destroyed my gums and mouth. Back in 2019 I requested a cancellation of my membership and a full refund I literally haven’t touched these aligners in 2 years. My request got swept under the rug and never canceled it. So I’ve been charged $80 EVERY MONTH since. I finally reached back out to the company to get my refund and was yet again dismissed and told a manager would “get in touch”. If I do not hear back from someone and get my full refund by the end of this week I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

Double booked my time slot so they were not ready at my appt. time and no one there to greet me when I walked in. The staff was all extremely friendly though and made sure to explain everything. I do not like that Smile Direct Club automatically signs you up to be charged for the aligners upon being approved for the treatment though because it doesn't give you anytime to think about whether or not you want to go forward with getting their aligners or have time to get your money together if you're not ready to go forward with purchasing yet. I was under the impression that I could get the free scan and results BEFORE deciding if this was something I was ready to do and pay for. You can call their support line and get this changed though according to the girl that scanned my teeth. I will be doing this tomorrow. Overall, it was a pretty good experience here and again the staff were so nice and easy to talk with. I came out of there having had my teeth 3D scanned for free, free reusable tote, free chapstick, and free teeth whitening kit that included the light and whitening pen because of the time frame I booked my appointment in. I am more than likely going to proceed with using their liners (if I'm approved) but I just didn't like the way Smile Direct Club tries to charge you before you even have time to think about things after you get your results back/approval.
