Tried to grab a bite to eat 2 hours before a movie, took over an hour to get our drinks. We had to go somewhere else to eat after the movie.

This place is an over priced rip-off!!! I've have had better food at a better price at other Mexican restaurant that put this place to shame. The food is bland and the portions a joke. They charge nearly three dollars for a shrimp and lettuce taco that was no bigger than my hand. The salsa for their chip is nothing more than watered down tomato purée. And the bar is hi-way robbery.

I really enjoy the food and the service here. I wish they would work on improving the chips and salsa, I feel like I can make better chips and salsa at home. I hope that they take what I have said to heart and improve since there are only a handful of restaurants in Wauseon and I would like them to stay in business.

The only thing positive I can say about this place, was the service was pretty decent, though our waitress did get my drink order wrong, which was a bad way to start, I didn't make a fuss about it, and the rest of the service was good. The food was terrible though. Tried to order the Burrito Plate, one chicken, one beef, and was informed that cannot be done. A bit baffling to me, why a $10 plate of food, cannot be two different meats. The salsa was runny, and dissapointing, but passable, as we weren't charged for the chips and salsa. the $5 queso dip was absolutely dissapointing though. The beef in the tacos and burritos, did not look much like beef to me, and was terribly bland. My burrito had Enchilada sauce on it, and, the only way I can describe it, was the texture, was ALL WRONG. It had the look and texture of a sauce that had been sitting out for a few hours. I'm not sure what their refried beans was, as I have never tasted Refried Beans that tasted like that, and it was an unpleasant flavor I might add. The rice, was decent though, so I will give them credit for that. All in all, my gut feeling is very little they serve is prepared fresh, and the quality definatly shows. As we discovered and was very amused about this place, was their advertised monday special, was tacos. For the regular menu price... That's all you really need to know about this rip-off.
