Mike is the best! He was the DJ at a friend's wedding a year ago and she raved how great and easy he was to work with. We hired him for our wedding and my friend was not lying. The entire planning process, communication, and day of was so incredibly simple and enjoyable. Mike replied quickly to emails, made sure the songs and intros were exactly how we envisioned it, and he was so attentive and had a great feel for the mood of the party. Everyone raved about the flow and energy of our reception, and it was all thanks to Mike. Cannot recommend Big Mic Productions enough!

We LOVED having Mike DJ our wedding! He had a fantastic line of communication before and during our wedding, which we really appreciated. He was really helpful when we were creating our wedding timeline, and he provided helpful suggestions on how to make our day the best it could be! All of the music was spot on, and Mike’s announcements and cues were really helpful throughout the reception. Our guests were on the dance floor literally all night, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better! We would absolutely book him for a future event, and we would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding!

HUGE shoutout to Big Mic Productions!! We could not have been happier with our DJ experience! My husband and I knew nothing about planning a wedding so Mike’s experience in the business was a huge help to us. He provided a wealth of expert advice and information on everything from music, to lighting, to helping us create the perfect personalized and well-organized/coordinated event itinerary for us (which says a LOT because my husband and I highly disorganized people with zero wedding planning skills). We were stoked to be able to work with Mike from our first meeting with him! His energy is awesome and he can effortlessly keep a 200-person dance floor jamming all night! Mike was so much fun to work with and handled any situation with a cool calmness and smile on his face. He also was a huge help to me in keeping up with our schedule. It can be easy to get distracted talking to guests but Mike helped keep things moving with expert subtlety. I can’t say enough how happy we are to have worked with Mike!! He understood our vision and the vibe we were going for from the beginning- we are so grateful for Mike’s ability to make our wedding dreams a reality and to do it in such a fun way! Working with Mike eased any worries or nervousness I had about the big day and made it the party of a lifetime that we will never forget! Mike did an amazing job at our wedding ceremony and reception. He was spot on for exactly how I had envisioned the music lining up, it was difficult as a bride to sit back and trust that everything would be perfect and Mike surpassed all of my expectations. I made changes and asked for songs and he made it happen on the spot. I couldn't have expected more from a DJ, he was truly our director of entertainment. His mixes were smooth and clean, his music selections were perfect. An overall great person to have at your event and share your day with. Mike is a true professional who knows exactly what he needs to do he had our guests dancing until the very end. The venue owners commented they haven’t had such as large crowd dancing that late into the evening in years. We recommend Mike for anyone who wants to have a killer party that’s talked about for years to come.

This is the second time I’ve hired Mike to DJ a friends wedding! He is seriously the best from initial contact all the way to packing up and leaving the wedding venue. He was helpful in all avenues- from a bubble machine, micing an unprepared officiant (me 😅), offering amazing pre wedding tips, and keeping the party going. He plays fun music that everyone knows and he is happy to play the music requested by the bride that nobody knows haha. He offers wedding timeline structure and his music worksheet kept everything organized and was so easy to use! Worked like a dream! With this being my second time working with Mike as a overly involved Maid of Honor, I can say that the bride that followed his direction had a smoother ceremony and reception with better flow. I will recommend Mike to everyone I know!
