Ground Up Lawn Management

We contacted Ground Up to come out and look at our lawn that has been gradually eroding since we moved in in 1990. We received a fair quote to deliver and spread 15 cubic yards of topsoil, seed the new dirt and cover the seeds with peat moss. Within 2 weeks they had a crew of 2-3 workers doing all of this backbreaking work and now our yard is level again. Some places required 12" of topsoil to raise the depressions from removed tree roots decomposing below the grass. They did an excellent job, better than I could have done and were very pleasant and professional. They went above and beyond what we expected with a contractor. We highly recommend them. Ryan, Kyle and the Ground Up team did great work with my landscaping. They were on time for both the quote and work appointments and we were very pleased with their service.

I have called this company over two episodes and have had poor experience each time. I called about year and a half ago for mulch, clean up and edging and Ryan who was the spokesman for the company said he would come out and send a quote. He never came out, he never called back. Then I tried to get in contact with them regarding the failed quote and he never phoned back. I recently, called again for lawn maintenance thinking maybe that was a bad period for a start up. I have called over month and half period and spoke with the business three occasions and they promised to email and send quote. This never happened and they never did the job or even sent a quote, despite however stating they would have better response. I would not recommend this company ,if you need your work done promptly and correctly and/or need prompted feedback. Evidently, this company only wants to work with select customers, which I obviously do not fit the demographic.
