***BEWARE OF KIA OF STREETSBORO IF BUYING OUT YOUR LEASE***
The quote online for a lease buyout from Kia Financial tells you in the disclosure "may include tax." If you take this number to Kia of Streetsboro, they will tell you taxes are not included. That is a lie. You can call Kia Financial and get a "formal lease buyout" emailed to you that will show the pre-tax amount and how much taxes are. Unfortunately, I realized this only after signing the loan. The sales associate actually lied to me twice about it in text messages and Kia of Streetsboro Sales Finance Manager Jacob Mitchell defended his actions. They get away with this because legally they can charge whatever they want for the buyout price. But you end up paying taxes twice - once to them (hidden in the inflated buyout price) and then to the government. Use the formal lease buyout letter and get an honest loan somewhere else!
