Ken was FANTASTIC! He was prompt, professional, he and his crew member arrived on time as promised. They repaired our ceiling to the point you can't even tell that my husband had put his feet through the attic floor (living room ceiling) just the week before. Our daughter purchased a condo in the Dayton area which had not been updated since the 1980's. She had less than 8 weeks to completely renovate nearly 2400 sf, which might not have been so bad if every wall did not contain wallpaper. Once we started removing the wallpaper, some of the walls suffered damage to the drywall. Other walls were damaged from water intrusion before windows were replaced. We also removed a half wall and a door/frame during the remodel. Besides wall damage, and remodeling, there were also areas of the textured ceiling in need of repair. The level of work we needed was more than just a spackle and sand...it was beyond what we could do. After calling around the area for drywall and ceiling repair, Wallcrafters was one of only two companies that promptly called us back. Ken came out the same day to look at the scope of work needed. The next day, Friday, they began the work and on Saturday they completed it. The work was of good quality, with the walls and ceiling restored to like new condition. The work Wallcrafters does is outstanding! They helped renovate my duplex, which suffered exterior and interior damage from the 2019 Ohio tornado. They replaced the roof, repaired interior drywall on the walls and ceilings through both apartments. They removed old cabinets and appliances and replaced them with upgraded ones. They painted the interior, replaced flooring, and pressure washed the exterior, and more. They made sure the renovations were done to code when needed for the restoration of the county gas service, which had been disconnected because of the tornado. It has been a huge project for me and they have managed it well and within budget and the quality of their work has been excellent. Wall Crafters did an excellent job repairing dry wall and then painting after another contractor had damaged our property. They were very professional, did a high quality job, cleaned up as they went along, kept me informed, and were always responsive to my questions. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.

This entire experience with this company has been nothing short of a disaster I wouldn't recommend anyone to call on them for work in your house if you want to save yourself a headache. This guy doesn't believe in a contract as he said he refused to do it because it was to time consuming to much paperwork and he don't do them. What does that tell you I should have seen this a a BIG Red Flag lesson learned with this company. The first time when he said he was done there was so many mistakes for a professional painting business shocked me and my family. Many of which included paint on so many pieces of my furniture and flooring which was rather new wood flooring i had put down with little to no effort to clean up the mess they made. Instead this was put on us to clean it up very disappointing. He had dried runs on the wall from excess paint, left over hair from the paint brush dried on the wall, my base board trim wasn't high enough to hide the missing paint near the bottom of the wall, they seemed very disorganized as a company. The owners level of communication was very lacking. After he said he was completed with the work i tried contacting him multiple times to get him to respond to correct it he ignored me until I made a complaint with the BBB and even then he wouldn't respond until he knew the next step was to the Ohio Attorney General's office. So at the very last minute he responded. So I Agreed to allow him to save face and correct his mistakes. The 2nd time coming to my home it was much of the same type of work no level of professionalism paint runs dried on the wall left over painters tape left around the ceiling, we asked them to redo the ceiling and stomp it which would have been the best thing they had done except every single corner of the ceiling was missing paint and the stomp and missing paint along the seam of the ceiling and wall. Thick areas of excess paint dried on the wall. We had told them upstairs we had just laid new wood floor to be careful not to get paint on it. Low and behold they got paint not just on my new wood floor , but my flat screen tv and of course didn't clean it up we had to clean up after their mess. The biggest thing that I feel is just egregious was the owner was upstairs and one of the workers was downstairs working on painting the room that had the most issues what they had done was sanded areas of the wall and was painting it after letting it dry out the worker came over to me and asked me what we thought of it. I told him it was still wet but even after it dried I told him it wouldn't look right unless they repaint the whole wall as you would see bleed in and still would notice the areas of repair. So they workers started laying out the tarp and equipment to paint repaint the whole wall. The owner came down was visibly upset his workers were doing that as he wanted to be ready to go which mean he had no intentions of actually repainting the wall to make it look as it should to be right the first time. After getting on to his employees for it he came to me and pulled me aside and started getting at me like I was one of his workers. Telling me not to talk to his employees that was his job. They asked me a question and I answered it plain and simple and I was under the impression he was here to correct his mistakes. Apparently he doesn't care about any of that. He then was complaining to me about how much man hours he has into this and how much fuel he has in it. Well this is not my problem if it was done right the first time he wouldn't have that happen. Also he was difficult to get a set appointment for them to come out they would say one thing and not show up or if they did it was late or not very long one day was only a half hour and so many what felt like excuses. I am giving 1 star only because I had to put something but this company doesn't deserve even that if I could give negative stars I would.
