        As a former employee, I would NEVER let someone I love live here. The director, Pete, laughs and blows off any concerns staff bring to him. Night shift caregivers sleep in the theatre. Caregivers will not answer pendants for hours on end and keep their jobs. Training and supervision is non-existent. Residents regularly said they felt ignored and like they were not treated as humans. Staff screams at each other in the middle of the hallway.

        Worst place I've ever encountered. Do Not recommend AT ALL .Steer clear! Rudest employees I've ever met , and don't expect management to do anything about it. They wont answer the phone and they bury there head in the sand hoping the problem will go away. I REPEAT - STEER CLEAR

        When my father in law could no longer live alone we started searching for independent living facilities near his church. We found Enclave only about 2 miles away. For the past 21 months this has been his home. Even during COVID they took care in allowing him to attend church. In the past few months his health declined & we knew the end was near. Since he was in an independent apartment we thought we would have to move him to a nursing home. When I talked to the Director of Nursing, Nicole she assured me they planned on him being there till the end & they would make the necessary adjustments to his care to give him a quality end of life. Enclave contacted Hospice who in turn took over his care in his apartment to the very end. I can not express with words what this meant to my husband & his brother to know he was taken care of. I would recommend Enclave for anyone needing a home for their aging parents & to know they will have the upmost care to then end.

        The staff here is friendly ..but.. Having worked in 2 hospitals in Jacksonville Illinois..one a nurses aid..other as secretary to the director. I am here because my son led me to believe this is an apartment. It is not..there us no privacy.. I was taught by my aunt and nuns to always knock..introduce yourself and why you have came so see them and ask permission to enter. I find they never take residents request to heart. More residents complain then me but they never get anywhere either. I feel
