Rude owner all about the money...I unfortunately lost my job 5 weeks before my scheduled hunt. With money now being tight, one of my first calls was to the owner here. I very politely asked for my $500 deposit back and his response was just NO...not sorry to hear that, here's a refund or here's a partial refund...just NO. I don't care if the deposit is refundable or not, this isn't how you treat people and it isn't how you run a business, but this place doesn't care...remember that when you pay them thousands of your hard earned dollars to shoot one of their animals. There are plenty of other places with big deer who don't operate this way, message me if you want suggestions.

Lost my $500.00 deposit with this place in 2020. No need for the details. Offered me to come next year but to me this was not acceptable. With my father passing away in May I was consumed with putting affairs in order for my mother of 95.

What an amazing experience with my dad. It truly was a hunt of a lifetime. The lodge and food was phenomenal. Ron and Karen are awesome people and their hospitality is 2nd to none. The deer are WORLD CLASS and I'm sure my heart won't pound as hard as it did last Monday in a long, long time. Thanks again for lifetime experience!

Great place to hunt for your dream buck and you will see some true world class whitetail and the owner (Ron & Karan ) along with Heath one of his guides are some of the best people in the business truly care about your experience.A most go. Got removed from my scheduled hunt for Oct. 11th-14th 2020. Won the chance to go here threw a SCI auction (with the balance of 10k due at the hunt). I contacted them after the auction with a introduction of myself on 3/22/2020. Talked to Ron Douglas (owner) that evening and was going to schedule the hunt after the quarantine ended, called Ron back and scheduled with both of them in the beginning of June. At this point, I was told the three available dates and chose the middle one. I received a email and a voicemail (from Karen Douglas) cancelling my hunt on 9/18/2020 said it was double booked. As a business owner I had to work diligently to make sure I had everything covered while I was gone, my guest (my uncle) has to put in for a vacation 2 months in advance as he is a hospice Minister. So there was no possible way for me to move my dates, I had to make numerous calls to find another hunt for us to attend as we were stuck with the time off. On my end there was no mention of trying to contact the other party to see if they could move. I was offered times I couldn't attend or the week of Xmas as it was my only other scheduled time off. This would put my uncle with a vacation were he couldn't go. Was given the option of next year but who knows what could happen to my uncle or I and the lose of meat in the freezer for this year. So at the end of the day it cost me $1,600.00 to NOT hunt here.
