Kalahari Resorts Indoor Waterpark - Sandusky

Pros: lots of things for all ages of kids to do. Nice selection of food places on site. Swim up bar and hot tub. Rooms were clean, organized and spacious. Customer service was good. Check in at the kiosk was quick. Free towels at the water park. Cons: EXPENSIVE. Literally everything costs so much money. Lockers are $25. Cabanas are $200 a day. Some of the games that take 5 minutes cost $10 a person. Drinks were $25. Lots of walking. Kalahari is huge and it took 10-15 minutes To walk to our room from the water park. Our group was 7 people and with groceries it took 1.5 hours to get everything up to our room. Locker room restrooms at the water park were filthy and many of the doors didnt have functional locks. Crowded. There are so many people all the time. We went the first week of January and it was difficult to find a place to sit in the water park. Lines are long for the popular water slides. Sometimes 45 minutes. Overall, a decent park but not worth the money they charge. IF we do come back I think it will be a day trip.

Fun water park - check-in was slow. Water park, and facilities in general were clean. Water park is better than Great Wolf Lodge (down the street), but Great Wolf has a few more fun things outside the water park. So... if water park is the main focus, this is the place for you.

It was a fairly decent resort, water park was super fun, kids had a blast. A very good variation of water slides from rough ones like the Tanzanian Slide to the, lazy river for little kids to ride through. Highly recommend this resort Rooms : 5/5 | Service : 4/5 | Location : 5/5 More
