Our family had a wonderful time at Cranes place! It is a very quiet, clean, secluded newer 3 bedroom home tucked in a hillside next to a private lake. Plenty of room for families and the kitchen has pretty much everything we needed. Please do heed the 4x4 needed to access this home in the woods. Not just AWD but something with ground clearance and preferably 4 low. Turn left at the Cranes place sign on Trillium and the adventure begins! Wife and kids loved the decent down the driveway, totally added to the experience. Worth every bit of it. Take the path to the lake and you will find a small fishing dock with a bench. Caught a few bass with a small spinnerbait. Short drive down some single-ish lane roads to all the Hocking Hills attractions. Grandma Fayes has everything you could possibly need grocery wise. We honestly cant wait to go back. Hats off to the owners who provided this busy family with some much needed quiet time( no internet or cell signal means your kids will actually talk to you). If you do need to touch base with the social media world, there is no place better then ash cave firetower. Beautiful view at the top and makes for some great FaceTime conversations.
