Went to the lilyfest for the first time. It wasn't exactly what I expected. What it is, is a true art festival in a beautiful wooded setting with vendors set up along garden paths. All sorts of true artisan creations for sale. Make sure you have an understanding of where this is located as you will most likely have spotty cell/GPS service but once you get close you can follow the signs.. The bamboo trail was pretty cool!! There were only limited daylilies labeled along the parking lot or daylilies for sale which is what surprised me. I guess I thought there would be a master gardener giving care or instruction on site. Lots of other plants for sale mostly from a business in Lancaster, unless we missed it. Still worth going if you know what to expect!!
