These medical and dental professionals do a great job in my opinion, providing services that are very needed in the area.

Beware of Dr.Brittian, the women dentist there. I have a cavity, I went in there to get it filled, and she told me it wasn't a cavity. Its a black spot on my tooth that is concave when I feel it. I have no idea why she would lie about that. Instead she filled my front two teeth. She told me I had a cavity there, but I never noticed anything before I went and my front teeth were not bothering me. After she did the filling, my teeth were very sensitive and sore. I am still having sensitivity even a couple of weeks after. I am definitely going to start seeing another dentist.

I've been going for years, and they started off amazing, but the past few years they've gotten worse and worse. They just dont seem to care about their clients anymore. Today was my last straw, I will be finding another dentist before I lose all my teeth. They always give me the run around saying they'll do this for me or that, but never do it. I'll make an appointment, wait the month or so to come in, and then they just look at my teeth. Very rarely can I get them to fix anything. This is a big deal to me because my teeth are geneticly bad, I have almost no enamel so I have problems with them frequently. A few months ago after going in because of extreme tooth pain, they told me I needed 4 teeth pulled and that they wouldn't do anything else for me until I did. They referred me to someone in Chillocothe. I had to wait 3 months for that appointment, but I finally had my teeth pulled. My mouth healed, so then when I made an appointment at Hopewell to have the rest of my teeth fixed, but my teeth are now even worse. The way I was treated today was my last straw. The dentist came in, looked in my mouth very quickly, looked at my xray, talked to her assistant, and left without even acknowledging me. I had questions, but she apparently didnt want to deal with it. She basically ran from the room. After waiting for over 2 hours you would think I could get more than a minute with her. Anyway, I tried asking her assistant some of my questions but she didn't know so had to hunt down the dentist, who wouldn't even come back and talk to me. I asked what they were going to do with my back tooth which I noticed had a cavity. They said there wasn't a cavity. I told them I knew there was because I saw it and it has been hurting me. Then they say oh well it's just small and they'll get it taken care of after I have my teeth pulled. They begin to tell me that they're referring me to somewhere in Columbus, I ask why so far when they sent me in Chillocothe last time. She said they only refer to Columbus. Needless to say by this point I was fed up. I had literally just healed up from getting 4 teeth pulled, and now they were wanting me to get more taken out. So not only did I have to just sit in a freezing cold room for nearly 3 hours with a rambunctious 3 year old, but now they won't touch my teeth again until this is taken care of. Meanwhile my other teeth are getting worse and worse. I just can't keep going in circles like this. This is nothing new, they've been doing this to me for years, but my teeth are now to such a bad point that I'm losing them because I cannot get Hopewell to do their job. My son had an appointment with them next week, but I'm definitely not taking him back either. I want to take him somewhere where I know they'll do something if he does have a problem. Plus after watch them tell a mother of young girl that she couldn't go back with her daughter, I really don't feel like it would be a good decision.
