There was dog hit and crumbs on the beds when we arrived. There was no hot water to shower probably one of the worst places I ever stayed. When we called about it to the front desk there werent very concerned and made it seem like it was no big deal, it must happen frequently

If I can start with the positive; every person that we met on our 3 night stay that worked here we're really nice. We were in town for a funeral and my father inlaw was paying for all of us, which is why we didn't simply change hotels. This was my first, and probably only time staying at a Red Roof Inn. When we arrived, a lady was at the front desk was politely complaining about her room, that her room was 'disgusting, floors sticky, hardly any towels...'. We were staying in 4 rooms and each had our own unique but similar issues, including smelly rooms, sticky floors, stained sheets, just a feeling of a dirty room, that didn't even pretend to be clean (the unclean parts easily noticed). While I'm used to staying at Hilton hotels, and I did suspect RRI would be different, I couldn't have imagined this much less. I remind you, we didn't change hotels because my wife didn't want to upset her parents, who generously paid for us all. I don't like writing reviews like this, especially when the staff was nice, but my hope is that they will use this as inspiration to clean up, deep clean. The sticky floors literally had many different left-behind objects such as coins, hair, hair utensils... so this is accumulated over time. I know it's hard to find good people during these times, that are willing to work and take pride in what they do, but the desk folks are good, look for people like them. All the best, sincerely
