The Ivy Tree Inn is the antidote to the nameless, faceless Air BnB of today. The Inn has glorious, all seasons award winning gardens and comfortable, inviting historic accommodations, but the real charmers are the innkeepers, Ron and Steve. Oberlin is an unusual town that attracts unique individuals. The Ivy Tree lures those who prefer the warmth of an old school B&B over the glitz of the Oberlin Hotel. The full breakfast they serve at the large seasonally decorated table is nutritious, catered to all dietary specifications, gourmet delicious, and full of laughter and witty repartee. We have been regular guests for years and we have never failed to leave the morning table without a new interesting experience with new people and the always jovial hosts. Even for communal fearing introverts the hosts set a low key, friendly vibe. When the hosts join in the conversations are better but the self selected guests each add their own elements. Ron and Steve not only operate our favorite B&B but for many years now we also consider them dear friends.

My first AirBnB experience. It was great. Ron is an excellent host and prepares a fabulous breakfast. This old home has lots of charm. The grounds are beautiful. The room was quiet, comfortable and clean! This home is situated in a quiet neighborhood in a college town. Great location. We'll be back!
