Skip scheduled twice to come out for an estimate, but he didn't show either time.

We contacted Skip to put up a large fence on our property. My wife and I can not be happier! He did a great job and completed the job on time, and I must tell you that he had a great work ethic, that in this day and age is so hard to come by. We would not hesitate to recommend him to our family and friends, in fact we already have! If you want a great fence with outstanding workmanship then you should call this company! He was professional and he kept the job site clean through out the process. We could not be happier! Thank you Skip! We love our new fence!!!

*Update* SKIP STOLE OUR MONEY. He disconnected his office and personal phones. Now we have to go through the courts, which could take years, because Skip refuses to repay our deposit. And Skip doesn't even conduct his business by the rules of the law. One star is too generous for Elite Fence and Skip Swendryck. We hired Skip to install a simple fence around our back yard in order to keep our young children from getting too close to a busy road. Instead what we received, and are still dealing with, was zero work and a contractor that has taken off with our down payment. Skip missed the initial installation date, agreed upon in the contract, and made zero attempts to let us know he was behind schedule. A week or so after the initial installation date, I attempted to get hold of Skip on multiple occasions and left messages that were never returned. When I finally heard from Skip's secretary I was given an excuse about a truck problem and that we'd see him within 3 weeks. Three weeks passed, and again no word from Skip, and calls were not answered or returned for nearly week. This process was repeated multiple times thru the early weeks of September, at which time I asked Skip to just refund our money as we we're no longer looking to have him install a fence. After getting the run around about a refund there's been a complete lack of communication in any way from Skip. As a result, I sought legal help. I also posted a review about Skip and Elite Fence around this same time, and was met with a furious tirade of text messages within an hour of posting and they continued the rest of the day while I was at work. The texts were threatinging enough in tone that it left my family feeling very uncomfortable with him and as a gesture to him, pulled them down. Now we're waiting to get our refund so that we can move on, but Skip's been a no show to any legal requests so we're probably left pursuing a dead beat contractor with no intention to make good on a simple request for a refund. Do not work with Skip or Elite Fence!! This experience has been the worst I've ever had with a contractor.
