Cars are great but the dealer not so much. The promotion that they for free $25 gift card for a test drive is a false advertisement. They will only give it to you if you actually purchase a car.

Frequently deal with the parts department here as the manager of a local independent shop but today I needed help from the service department. Austin went above and beyond helping answer my questions. As someone who deals with all aspects of this industry professionally I can definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who asks. Big shout out to the entire parts department and Austin from service !

The Hundai service warranty of a free oil change every 7500 miles is misleading and inaccurate. Our 2022 Sante Fe is at Columbia Hundai today for an oil change at 12, 500 miles. The first change was at 5000 miles. I was informed by the service desk that there would be a $55 charge for today's service because it is too early for the 15,000 mile change as required by Hundai. The service manager then agreed to do this change at no charge. However, inorder to get back on the Hundai service guideline we will have to pay for another oil change after going another 2500 miles.Columbia Hundai DID NOT inform us of this policy when we scheduled the first oil change when the car was 8 months old and had over 5000 miles. The next oil change for the next 7500 miles would be at 20,000 miles. The Columbia Hundai service manager said that Hundai will not accept that as meeting their guidelines. We will have to have another oil chage in 2500 miles and pay for it!For accuracy purposes the Hundai policy should be stated as the following: 4 free oil chages for new cars as long as they are done at exactly 7500 miles, 15000 miles, 22500 miles, and 30,000 miles. If you get your oil change early YOU PAY.Columbia Hundai has a responsibility to explain specifics of the Hundai oil change if they impact the cost of future service. They did not inform us.My suggestion to Hundai is that a better policy would be that you get 4 free oil changes as long as they are "at or before" each 7500 miles. What if you have done some "hard driving" and want an early oil change. Is it best to wait until you reach a 7500 mile increment, or run your engine with "dirty oil"?

The girl that checked me in and out was so rude I couldnt believe it. Shes the weakest link there. Everyone else was fast and friendly. The waiting room has desks where I could have my computer and all. Unfortunately, dealing with her at check in and check out ruined my whole experience. Im never going back there. I get complimentary services in my Hyundai and Im scheduling them elsewhere just so I never have to see her face again or hear her voice.
