I will preface by saying this post is not a review of the food or ambiance of the restaurant. We have dined there 3 times in past and enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service was fine those times. We reserved a table for 8 for a special occasion on a Thursday night. We did so mostly because this interior is very cool and some of the parties live in Miamisburg. We wanted to support a local place . We had reservations at 6:30pm. Which we made nearly a week in advance. I received a call from someone who identified themselves as a server , calling from her own phone. She answered hello? After I determined she was from Watermark , she asks if its ok if we sit outside at an umbrella table or a high top bar because they overbooked and had a large party of 40 in the main dining room. Wow! Did they just realize this as 4:55 pm? An hour and half before our reservation? With a couple of our guests driving from 45 mins away? How was this overlooked for nearly 6 days? We ultimately went to another restaurant because the draw for us was the ambience in the main restaurant. When I reached out to management they said Hi, thanks for contacting us. We've received your message and appreciate you reaching out. That is it. We wont be back. There are many other small businesses that would appreciate the 400$ we spent elsewhere!

Absolutely horribly rude and snotty ownership. Had a reservation for a birthday dinner, they called about an hour before we were getting ready to head to the restaurant to say they overbooked and offered to sit us in a back room or on the patio, we declined as we had chosen the restaurant based on the interior decor and vibe. We let the restaurant know that we felt this wasnt great business practice to basically boot reserved guests out of the dining area because of inaccurately booking their restaurant. The owner replied with a very rude, and defensive email, essentially saying we were being difficult by not agreeing to alternate seating and that we should have specified what kind of seating we were looking for during booking, placing certain words in all caps, etc. my question is, if this wasnt deemed to be a big deal like you say, then why call us in advance to notify of the mishap in the first place? Thought it wasnt a big deal and that all your other customers love those seating options? And why even allow booking for larger parties if you say you dont completely have the capability to accommodate? Advice, it never looks good to get defensive and snotty over a simple email of a customer (yes we had been there in the past) voicing they thought a situation was a little poorly handled. Dont try to book a slightly larger party here, also the food may have nice presentation, but portions are very small and not filling at all for overpriced food.

Food, service, and atmosphere all excellent. The server remembered us from our last visit and my odd dietary restrictions. The bartender made a cocktail for my wife that wasn't on the menu. She was honestly excited about the opportunity to create! Chef came out to greet us and tell us about some upcoming events. Wonderful experience! We will definately be going back. Parking: Their lot is small but convenient to the restaurant.
