      image My family and I have been coming to Laurel Lodge at Lake Hope State park for my entire life (right now 26 years). It's the only thing I actually look forward to every single year without fail. This place has hiking trails, quaint cabins, a wonderful restaurant, and of course the lake itself. The Lake has areas for swimming, boating, kayaking, or just chillin'. If you don't like swimming, try zip lining through the Hocking Hills. You can literally go any time of the year, but do yourself a favor and go in the Fall when the leaves are changing colors. Fire pits are at every location (just bring firewood). Come out and relax by fire for a long weekend.
