Cabins At Waters Edge

Lovely appointed cabin right on the water. It was quiet and secluded. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and sitting around the fire pit.

Wonderful get away! We arrived to check in about 2 hours early due to inclement weather headed that way. The cabin was sweetly decorated for the holidays with a beautiful Christmas Tree and decorations tastefully placed throughout the cabin. We walked into the warm cabin to see lights on and Christmas music playing from the television. The views out onto the lake were breathtaking and everything about our surroundings were peaceful. The fully stocked kitchen made our 4 days there a breeze! I will update that the coffeemaker does include a Keurig kcup option and the dvd player is Blu Ray compatible. They did have a few Christmas movies as well as a few others there for you to use if you choose. They also provided a CD player and holiday music for you to enjoy. We used the hot tub almost daily and it was really appreciated after our winter hikes. It fit 3 to 4 people very well and was very well maintained! We had 4 adults and 2 teens with us during our stay so this cabin can accommodate comfortably. One note that should be made. It is included on the VRBO listing, but wanted to emphasize: The driveway is very steep at the top and there is not a lot of space to turn a vehicle around. So be sure your vehicle has 4x4 in the winter! This cabin was one of the better ones we have stayed in down in the Hocking Hills area. We will certainly be back in the future!
