Tom was our photographer for our wedding and engagement session. He was kind, professional, easy-going, experienced and over-all fun to be around. He made every vision we had come to life. Even our "snowy" engagement request. During our wedding day, he stepped up and knew exactly what to do to ensure the day went as smooth as possible. We cannot say enough great things about Tom and his amazing work. Thank you for everything!

He was so professional and made the experience fun. Allowed everyone to feel comfortable and at ease. Made little details seem glamorous! He found great spots to take pictures. And the one that I chose, and was a little worried about, he turned those into some of my favorite pictures!! Highly recommended!!

Polite. Professional. Phenomenal. I found Tom originally when searching online for wedding photographers. I was actually pretty discouraged as I scoured album after album of multiple photographers work. What I missed in them all wasn't their lack in technical photographic ability, but they were void in capturing moments. The moments and exchanges of love during our wedding is what meant the most to us and what we hoped would be captured by our photographer. The photos I found with people all seemed staged until I saw Tom's photos. From that moment, I could not email him fast enough to inquire about his availability for our wedding and the rest is history. Tom Forrest cares about what weddings truly mean, and he brings every ounce of energy to be present, focused and mindful to the moments throughout your entire wedding day. Tom provided us with hundreds of photos, each of which he then shared in color and black & white. His work is astounding and there were so many photos that we wanted to share that it was like choosing a grilled cheese sandwich at the Melt, but you just cannot go wrong. The following are some of the elements worth recognizing that brought us fulfillment in Tom's work, and we hope to capture as many details as we can that resonated with us that you may be seeking too. Tom is passionate about all aspects of his profession, and he is incredibly talented in his technical ability and in aesthetic composition. Everyone of his photos is a piece of art. His intent focus and presence the entire day produced countless photos of various distance, depth of field, seriousness and moments of fun. He captured motion and emotion, portraits and group shots, scenery and sensation and so much more. All the while we and others after the wedding commented how they never saw him and couldn’t believe the photos he took. Tom was "invisible in the scene”, not wanting to bring any attention to himself yet somehow was right there to catch the smile, tear or gesture of affection between us or our guests. We love looking at our photos because he photographed all of our family and friends who we got to see celebrating with us. We felt we never missed a moment of our wedding with all that he captured—he even photographed the band members playing for our big day and our lovable dog early on. Again, it wasn't only his talent, but his person-ability, genuine care for us and the energy he put into all aspects of his work that earned his ultimate 5-star rating. Tom is a gem of a photographer in Cleveland.
