Arepazo Tapas and Wine

When Carlos opened the first Arepazo on Pearl Alley, I was there. And I ate there at least twice a week. The arepas were great! But the arepas last week in Gahanna were pretty awful. They were thick and doughy, and completely pale. No golden brown. Unappetizing. The shredded chicken filling was fine but meager. The tiny plastic containers of green sauce were 1/3 the size of the containers we were given at the original restaurant and not nearly as aromatic and tasty. The wait staff was excellent, so points for that. But I won’t be back until they raise their standards back up.

We had a 30 minutes wait, so we sat outside at one of their tables for outside seating. When we tried to order a glass of wine because other people sitting in this area are being served, we were be told that they would not serve us until we would be seated indoors. Very strange rule
