Unfriendly staff, acted like he was doing me a big favor by buying a part of a coin collection. Place is a dump. Didn't act like he wanted to explain any reason for the prices he offered on anything. Do yourself a favor and find another coin dealer.

Belmont coin and jewelry was recommended to me by my friend Ryan who works at helzberg Jewelers by the Dayton Mall. While he had no direct experience with Belmont, he told me that all of his customers recommended them. Another associate in helzberg chimed in I believe it was one of the managers and said yes Belmont has the best reputation in town. My father and I visited Belmont with a plastic tub full of silver that I dug out of the back of a closet. Most of it was plate. I believe Belmont offered us a fair price for the pieces seeing as how they're only purchased at weight, they weren't coins or anything. I believe Belmont is an honest fear dealing silver gold coin and jewelry dealer. I highly recommend them for their fairness and honesty and well-earned reputation.
