As a man looking to end a marriage of 13 years and kids being involved, I thought I was screwed and that my life was financially ruined but I couldn't have been more wrong. Mr. Hartley was very proactive and even demanding of me when it came to matters that required my attention, which I definitely needed at the time. He strategized the whole approach and helped me negotiate the schedule I wanted with my kids, what assets to trade off to get the least impactful results to my finances and served as a constant node of blunt force positivity in my corner. He emphasized what I already knew to be the most important aspect of the process, my kids. I'll layout my general results below... As a man I know these results are rare and obviously can't be applied to all situations and people. - 50/50 shared parenting control (normal). - Rotating major holidays (normal). - Kids live with dad as residential parent and visit mom every other weekend (not normal). - Child support is still present due to income inequality but fair. - No alimony (married 13 years). - Kept my house (and all the equity). - Lost my 401k but traded it for desired schedule (time with my kids) & house (it was worth it to me). This review is long overdue and overall what I want people to take away is that I really owe Mr. Hartley a lot and that this guy is a shark but not without a heart. Aaron Hartley is the epitome of what a great attorney should be. Aaron is truly concerned about protecting his clients above even himself. Not afraid to be aggressive in courts and will not let them say no. Aaron’s practice has an associate attorney and more than ample office staff to make sure any and all information is available in a very timely manner. My case went a lot smoother than I could have imagined and I believe wholeheartedly that without him and his team I would not be ok now. It is IMPOSSIBLE to Find Better Council I have no way of truly stating or defining the fact that in your darkest moment as a father facing divorce, fear and anger develop. I was in this situation and needed to find a good attorney. Let me re-phrase this.... I needed to find the BEST attorney. And by luck, I did. Mr. Hartley and his team are magicians with a flair of aggression to do the right thing. There has never been a moment where relief felt so outstanding knowing that Mr. Hartley was my sword and shield. My divorce was in the least, contentious. Mr. Hartley navigated these waters with ease and absolutely pummeled anything in his path. I retained almost everything I was fighting for myself and my daughter in what I considered a "vanilla" divorce(house, 401K, rental unit, but most of all, final decision maker for my daughter). Some may say that this sounds easy, but it is not! And I do believe that there is a right way to fight a case where a father is fighting for his child. Mr. Hartley provided EXACTLY that. The wide expanse of knowledge and capability of Mr. Hartley knows no bounds. He definitely pushes beyond any normal human for his clients. The precision and timing of action is everything and to be honest, I do not believe that Mr. Hartley sleeps at all. He was available anytime and the guidance was impeccable. There should be a movie made about this attorney. His preparation and subsequent pouncing in a courtroom is exactly that....out of a movie. The difference is, it IS reality and that diamond you are looking for is located in Kettering, OH. As a father, I reigned in the outcome (which these days does not seem possible). I have final authority on just about everything related to my daughter. The future is hers thanks to Mr. Hartley and his team. And I am telling anyone reading this....If you are in a similar situation, I wouldn't trust ANYONE else.
