Just to preface, if I could give no stars, I definitely would. The "manager" was extremely rude and disrespectful literally because she had to check us out while she was on a personal call with her little blue-tooth headphones in while on the clock and apparently that was far too much of an inconvenience for her. What kind of grown up rolls their eyes at and is mean to an 8 year old and proceeds make a comment to imply that they aren't parented because they asked to keep ONE TOY out of a bag, like come on? Heaven forbid you had to ask her a question or interrupt her phone call during the transaction. I've never seen someone act so childish and unprofessional inside of a store, fellow shoppers included. By carelessly throwing items around, a water toy was broken with pieces falling everywhere. She told me that I needed to go find another one. I told her if the item is that poor in quality it can't survive check-out, we will pass on it. Nope, charged anyways. Couldn't be bothered to deal with it, and I'm not even saying that to be a "Karen". There is literally a dollar store on every corner in the area. No matter how convenient the location happens to be at the time, waste the extra 2 minutes driving to go somewhere else. Trash in the floor of every aisle (I only know this because the manager kept bothering us about some missing keys every couple of minutes so I took the liberty of looking all over the store). Friends, there is a reason there isn't a page for store #10115 and this page remains unclaimed. Spoiler alert: It's because it sucks.

This location is no longer there, but there's a new location I visited on 12.09.2017. (Store #10115 2360 S. Smithville Rd. Kettering, OH) I will never visit this location or any other Family Dollar locations for that matter again. Saturday evening my family and I decided to hang Christmas decor and put up our tree. I know for the family dollar has a 6ft white tree for the quick hot $20! I am on a budget ya know! They only have pre-lit green/white trees only. There are not any associates in site to ask any questions. So we have to walk around to finally find one. I inform her of what I am looking for and asked her if there were any in the back? All she does is double check the Christmas tree boxes, but we just did that. She refused to check in the back; stating she was already back there but didn't see any. Since she wouldn't check the back storage and they were completely out I asked if there was a discount that could be applied to accommodate their guests? Her name was Nichole she's a manager at this location and she flat out said "NO!" So she refused to check the back storage and refused a discount! Lets not forget to mention Miss Nichole was to busy trying to order Marcos pizza instead of assisting patrons. When I checked out the associate Gerald doesn't even look at you let alone greet you, say have a great day, happy holidays, nothing! I asked Nichole if a manager was a available that is when I was informed she was one! I also asked for corporate number. We get our tree home and the lower lights "DO NOT WORK!" So Nichole refused to check the back storage and refused a discount; now my new trees lights do not work on the bottom. Just an all around lose lose situation! I called corporate Monday 12.11.2017 to be on hold for 16:45 no one ever came to the phone!
