Came here to open a bank account for my girlfriend. We had JUST come from getting my druvers license and my girlfriend's ID(we both moved from out of state). So she had the documents required by the state to get her photo ID. We go to key bank for her to open an account and then to deposit 2 checks she had. She had her photo ID, birth certificate, addressed document to show residency from her lawyer and her social security card. We were told that her SS card, addressed envelope and her birth certificate didn't qualify as the 2nd form or the proof of residency. They said it needed to be a bill addressed to her to show proof. The reason given was because your SS card and birth certificates are "just a piece of paper" and "can be forged by anyone on a computer". So her SS card, proof of residency, and birth certificate are ok for the state of ohio to get an ID but it's not ok to open a bank account? So we went to another bank and had zero issues opening an account.

Absolutely Horrible, lied to ignored by the manager i would not recommend this bank to my worst enemy .Worst of all i have made a complaint every where i could its like there is no supervising authority any where and if there is they dont care about whats going on either, if at all possible avoid this bank .
