The Tutoring Center

I highly recommend this center. They help my daughter very much in math. First, they figured out her weaknesses and made plan for her. I noticed that she improved and I am waiting for her evaluation and will post another review after that.

I am so pleased with the Tutoring center at Upper Arlington. My son joined it a year ago, during the pandemic. He was a first grader then, and he was not able to read a 2 letter word like to. Now he is reading books and his last STAR assessment at school, showed he is ready for grade 3 reading ( he just started grade 2 at school) !! I am amazed at his capability of reading big words now without any help!! Seriously its like night and day for us and it deserves every penny and more! Freda is great and easy to work with, has always been easy to switch sessions if needed. Also a plus is that Kroger is just beside the center, so I get my grocery shopping during my sons tutoring session! I cant say enough about this place! I recommend it 200%

I brought my daughter in for the initial assessment on April 29th after researching other centers. She has been in tutoring for math 3 days per week since then. So far, our family is impressed. Everyone has made us feel welcome and has ensured that all our questions are answered. My daughter loves going to tutoring (especially since the students earn items from their mini store). I chose this center based on the 1 to 1 approach instead of small group tutoring that the competitors use. I will update again after my daughter has finished 20 sessions (we will receive a progress report) and again at 40 sessions (daughter will be re-assessed). I highly recommend this center. **Update: After coming here for three sessions per week for 3 1/2 months, my daughter has gained one full grade level in math.

The center asked for understanding during Covid-19, keeping the price unchanged for less service (at times they were closed because of positive cases). Implied was some sort of compensation after the pandemic (maybe skip a month of payment). Now, when the pandemic is over, the center hiked the price 10% on everyone, including the families who supported them during the hard times. It ends up being at least $50-$60 per hour of tutoring, when taking into account vacations, holidays and inevitable personal unavailability. And this is for shared tutoring. Better off with a established private tutor.

I love coming here an the instructors are very kind. They are doing a very good job on taking kids temperature and makes sure they wash their hand. The instructors explain all of your in a easy way and they are easy to understand.
