The Sewing Hive

I took a serger class with Jackie and loved it! Super reasonable price for a thorough overview of my serger and help threading it. I really got a personalized lesson--Jackie was able to gauge my sewing knowledge (not too basic and not above my head). The Sewing Hive has a great space and really knowledgeable, nice staff. I can't wait to take more classes here--the master pattern class is on my list! If you want to start sewing, freshen up your skills/dust off the machine, or challenge yourself as an experienced sewist, go take a class at the Sewing Hive!

Really enjoyed this class. Martha was great and very supportive. She was very open to ideas and showed me different ways to accomplish different tasks. I plan at some point in the future to take more classes.

II really enjoyed the t-shirt class and learned a lot. I've sewn lots of woven fabrics but knits are new to me, so I was a beginner again. I made a practice t-shirt showing how to do the neck binding and a nifty hem. Jamie's personal attention and relaxed teaching style were so encouraging that I am going ahead and planning a t-shirt wardrobe for my lucky husband. Thank you!

Jackie is such a kind, patient and skilled teacher. My daughter absolutely loves spending time at The Sewing Hive, learning from one of the best. Thank you for making her experience amazing!
