Big Fat Greek Kuzina

Every time I go, the food is amazing. My parents in Florida insist on eating here every time they come up and the service has always been wonderful. I usually get the salmon salad and the green goddess dip is worth the trip alone!

I have been eating here for years and have loved it for years. However the last two take outs have been terrible. Over the past 6 months they quality of food has gone down so much. They have been closing up to 2 hours early and been cleaning the gyro machine. When they do this they just cut the meat and put it in some warm water on the grill to keep it from drying out. Tonight's gyro I had to throw away because of how soggy the pita was. The meat hand no cook marks on it at all. The chicken gyro was all fat. Not to mention they can't get the orders right anymore. The past 2 orders they forgot the fries and the extra sauce that was paid for. And tonight's order they forgot the extra sauce and put onions on the plates that was requested no onions. Needless to say the food went to the trash and we will not be going back. This is sad because at one point it was the best Greek in Columbus hands down!!! They must be really struggling because I've notice the owners have also closed their Polaris location here recently. I guess it's time to find a new place. :-(

I used to eat here at least once a month. I always order the gyro platter, but I have to say my visit today was an all time low. This may have been the worst gyro I have ever eaten. That is the one menu item that you have to get right. The meat arrived dry and crunchy. I feed my dog a lamb and rice meal, I would rather eat his dog food. On the upside they still have a decent Greek salad.

The spanokopita was delicious with excellent bechamel sauce and marinara, we enjoyed the hummus, Moussaka, and Pastitsio. The servings were generous.
