MIK homes transformed our kitchen. Before it was secluded from other rooms. My kitchen is now a part of the house, open and welcoming. Vadim and his incredible team are professional, talented, responsive and kind. We enjoyed getting to know each member of this talented group. Additionally, MIK remodeled the bathroom. It is so beautiful thanks to their design and tile work. I highly recommend this conscientious, responsible, and personable team. We have actually hired them to do more work! I can not express how wonderful my experience was. I was nervous having my bathroom remodeled right now due to so many labor and supply shortages. I can’t believe how awesome this company is!! It was smooth, fast, friendly, incredibly convenient, and most of all they’re so personal and detail oriented. These guys know what they’re doing and it’s clear they care about the detail of their work and the customer from start to finish. All of my questions were addressed quickly and so patiently. I am so pleased with my beautiful bathroom and the company as a group I’ve already booked them to do my kitchen next! Best contracting experience ever! Working with Vadim and his team was a fantastic experience. When we first started looking for contractors, we hadn’t even considered changing the layout of our 10x10 L-shaped kitchen -- until Vadim and Stan asked if we’d ever thought about taking down the wall between the kitchen and dining room. They sent us two quotes: one for the existing layout, and one a new layout without the wall. But not just quotes -- complete 3D renderings of what our kitchen could look like in each layout. The attention to detail they provided in their renderings and quotes alone were enough to impress us. The fact that their quotes were both well under any one else’s we had received was a big plus. We knew we wanted the changed layout without the wall -- but it was $10K over our budget. Vadim and Stan went through the itemized quote line by line -- showing us how we could save money by doing our own demolition and our own painting. Furthermore, we were free to choose whatever backsplash, flooring, hardware, appliances and lighting we wanted, which gave us additional control over the budget. So many other contractors do not want to give up control of any part of the process, so this alone was one of the reasons that I have been recommending them to everyone I know. We also really liked that they are a family-owned business. They utilized local resources for granite and cabinetry, which inspired me to buy from local businesses for lighting, cabinet hardware, and shelving. When it came to doing our own demolition, Vadim came over and helped us get started (we had never done anything like this before!). Although it took us a whole week to do, knowing that our own sweat equity helped make our dream kitchen happen is so satisfying! We only had a couple of hiccups once Vadim’s team started working on our kitchen. One of the short walls we were supposed to tear down was a supporting wall -- I am still in awe of how Vadim and Dima made the fix! And the shelving wasn’t on the list of items that we were supposed to provide, so they gave us a credit for the error. They weren’t afraid to own up to mistakes, and make it right. Otherwise, everything went so smoothly. They worked fast, but no detail was overlooked. We finally have our dream kitchen, thanks to Mik Homes. I will recommend them to everyone I know, and look forward to using them again when we are ready to renovate our bathrooms!
