Is this place closed permanently? Went there twice last week and this week and NOTHING. I called and it says “the number is disconnected” help! I need to resize my wed ring!

I truly wish I could give a NEGATIVE star rating. My husband and I purchased a new wedding set yesterday (over a $5,000 ring). Today, less than 24 hours after the purchase, one of the diamonds became dark. I took the ring to Andrews Jewlers in Lancaster. It was there that I found out that the diamond was not the original. The ring had been worked on by a jeweler and the replacement diamond was smaller than the original. Mind you, I didn’t have the ring sized or worked on at all. The two associates in the Lancaster store were AMAZING. But as for the man who took advantage of us in Polaris, how disgusting. I should’ve went with my gut- I knew something had to be wrong when he pushed the ring down my throat over and over!!

If I could give 0 Stars I would. They are pushy. They do not listen to what you want or need. I’ve purchased earrings, wedding bands (multiple) and an engagement band with diamond... I don’t know why I go back because the service is terrible, each employee will give you different information. I had worn my bands for less than a week before one of the diamonds fell out. They “fixed” it about five times in the first year that it was purchased and finally said “if it breaks again we will replace it”. Well, that was a lie, in fact I went in to get the purchase price paperwork written up because they never gave it to me with purchase.... the woman gave me attitude about not being able to find the purchase, and gave me attitude about where and when I purchased it... I look at the paperwork that was written up and it’s innacurate. It quoted approx 8-10 thousand dollars less than the appraised/purchased price. When I was leaving the store I noticed that one of the stones was missing. No it didn’t fall out, you can tell that the prong was lifted and the stone was picked out. I am so frustrated with this company. I could not be happier that they are bancrupt and going out of business. The sale might look tempting but it’s not, they also tried to sell me earrings that didn’t even match in size ... then laughed and said “that’s probably why we still have them”. I have never ever left a negative review like this, but purchasing jewelry is supposed to be fun and exciting and Andrews Jewelry makes it painful and feel like a mistake . I wish I could give more detail about all the things I’ve gone through with this company and negative interactions with employees, jewelry and warranty services but I don’t have all week to type it all out. If I save one person the agony of purchasing from this place, I’ll be happy.
