Rigsby's Kitchen

Awful experience last night. I have been coming to Rigsby's for years and something has changed for the worse. They were out of most of the beers that were on the menu and several entrees. Service was atrocious and the waitress admitted that many of the longstanding workers have quit and their replacements have not been trained. The food also was not as good as in the past. I am sad to see this restaurant go downhill like this. It feels like a place that is having real financial problems and no one is minding the store.

Restaurant has declined. Long time waiting for table and menu. Pork was tough to eat. Many tables had to wait a long time.

A deserved recipient of the awards it wins. The duck was outstanding. The 3-person porterhouse steak was one of the best steaks I've ever had.

Went on a Saturday night for our anniversary dinner. Loved it and we are picky. Very pretty place with high energy, high noise level. It was fun, not annoying at all, with a mix of ages/generations of diners. Not in the least stuffy or snooty. We chatted and compared dishes with the surrounding tables. Everyone had a good time. I got the superb pan roasted sea scallops, husband got cacciucco, which is essentially cioppino. The ingredients were best quality and fresh. Our waiter nailed the wine recommendation. We will be back, perhaps on a Monday for the Oyster special.
