ALDI Grocery Delivery

Hi! I visited this location to review the accessibility of the store and will be including my findings below! When you arrive to Aldi, the parking lot is very large and smooth and there are handicap spaces that are available and there is no step up to get through the doors of a building which is convenient for any wheelchair user. The spot that you go to get a cart is not very wide, hard to maneuver, and there is often a lot of traffic so this may be a problem for individuals with sensory sensitivity or mobility impairments. The front doors are very wide and open automatically and right inside the doors there was a wheelchair shopping cart available to use which is great! The aisles once inside the store are very wide and have a lot of space for wheelchairs or other mobility equipment, however, the ground does have uneven tile. The shelves were not very high in this store and most of the items would be able to be reached from a wheelchair. The checkout line is not very wide and may not be wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and the machine for payment is high up and may not be accessed easily by wheelchair users. I did not see any accommodations available at the register for individuals who may be deaf or blind. The counter that you bag your items on is accessible to all due to the height, however, having to bag your own groceries may not be accessible to everyone. The store was fairly busy and may cause complications with sensory overload, however, this location is fairly accessible to a variety of individuals.

It's smaller than other locations, but it's also less overwhelming. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The selection is decent. I prefer this Aldi to any of the big stores.
