        Deeply depressing place to visit. It makes you face the reality of the disgusting past (and sometimes present) of how the insane were treated. It is located behind a police station, which can be off putting, but they did not bother us.

        My mom worked at the old state hospital in the late 60s and early 70s creepiest place ever ! I was little then and it scared me so much to go there with her that I would start crying when I got there and I've been followed by spirits ever since then
