This should be a -1 star!! By far thee worst place in Ohio... Bought a 2002 Ford Taurus for 6000$ one year ago. I know I paid double what it was worth, due to not having the best of credit. I needed a car, so had to do get it while I could. On month after getting the car had a problem. Took it to there shop " big mistake " in this year it has been in their shop 3 times. 3 days ago I was in an accident. The insurance company totaled the car out, they are only giving me a 3rd of what I paid for the car! Needless to say. I'm now without a car. Please whatever you do don't get a car from this place.

This place was a terrible experience. Tires went flat within days of driving off the lot, turns out they had used silicone on the valve stems to try and cover up the fact that they were damaged rather than replace them with proper parts. Within two months I had to take it to a shop to have BOTH of my front lower ball joints replaced. Front passenger AND driver side doors had improper alignment and one of them even damaged the body of my car when it broke as a result. I've spent over $3,000 repairing the damages to the car that existed when I bought it and were simply well covered up by the dealership. DO NOT BUY HERE. If you already did DO NOT LET THEIR MECHANICS TOUCH YOUR CAR AGAIN.

Initially my experience with AutoMax USA was a positive one, the customer service was awesome. Every question was answered, however the price of the car was kept from me until I signed the paperwork as well as the details of what I would have to pay to them after they wrote up the paper work stating that I had already given them 1700 dollars in the form of my trade, which was false because when I went to sit down with the finance guy I had to sign an agreement that pushed my first payment out to December 1, 2013 in order to make up the shortfall of the down payment. Then after several weeks of driving the car I noticed and issue with shifting and accelerating, I contacted the dealership and spoke with the manager who was very helpful and accommodating. He handled all of the paperwork and coordination with the warranty company, even provided me the use of a loan car from dealer inventory for the duration of the repair which took about a week. At this point I am a happy customer and would recommend AutoMax, however after the transmission was replaced on the car, it turned double even triple miles. I contacted the manager again because after all he had been so helpful with the previous claim. Well this was to say the least this interaction was not as pleasant as the first. I was provided with no answers and told that there diagnostic equipment would be of no use to determine the issue, so I called the warranty company myself on several different occasions and got nowhere, because all they kept saying was that I needed to have a repair shop call in, but I am confused because I had the manager at the dealership call in, the same one who replaced my transmission. Apparently as I have found out over numerous conversations with claims representatives that the issue was an odometer issue and in no way related to the transmission, even though the issue presented itself after the transmission was replaced. This information was imparted to the warranty company by the dealer yet I only found out just recently what the conversation disclosed. I found out this information simply because I started to question the claims representative about why he had no record. Now 18 months later here I am with 6600 dollars left on a loan with a car that probably won’t last for another month, simply because AutoMax USA sold me a lemon to begin with. AutoMax USA will say anything to get you to buy a car from them. Buyer BEWARE

This dump honestly deserves a negative one. The customer service is absolutely horrible. We got a decent car for a decent price, but the rest of the experience did not make it worth it. The car had a large scratch and a broken mirror when we bought it. They promised that it would be fixed and detailed. Two days later they called saying we were not eligible for the loan they gave us, so they made us come in (30 minute drive) to sign the new documents. I thought that was the end of our worries, but it turned out to just be the beginning. They called saying the car had been detailed. We were delighted and went to pick it up, only to find the huge scratch glaring back at us. I threw a fit, and they offered to fix it the way that the had promised in writing. They offered a loaner car since my husband and I only have one car a piece, and when we got in the loaner, it was below E. We had to put gas in it before we could even head home. Two weeks later they called saying the car was finally repaired. They had promised that our car would be filled with gas since the loaner had no gas. Our car had a 1/4 tank of gas when we dropped it off, and 0 when we picked it up. When I asked the financial manager (the only manager there at the moment) if the car had been filled, he replied in a sarcastic tone "By looking at the red E, I'd say no". I was furious. I began to argue when he told me "I don't have a gas card and we aren't even AutoMax anymore so I can't do anything for you". Overall, the customer service is absolutely TERRIBLE. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!
