We were pretty pumped to go here, and the atmosphere did not disappoint. Honestly, at first look, this place is 10/10. I don't know if we came at a busy time (1130 on a Sunday), but the service left a lot to be desired. A couple of our grilled cheeses were missing ingredients, but we didn't see our waiter again for a long enough time period that we decided to eat it as was. Our table also went without drinks or acknowledgment for 30 mins. The food was decent, and the menu was broad.

Appetizers were AMAZING. Sandwiches were ok. Fries were like fair fries on the last day of the fair. Our server was nice, but kitchen was backed up so took a while to get our food.

45 min wait, it happens. Then seated waited another 45 min. Food came out like warm, messy, lacking flavor and items that were supposed to be on the sandwich. Fries were lukewarm warm and one of the plates were basically crumbs of fries. Disappointing for spending almost two hours there for below par service and food.

Waited an extreme amount of time to be seated, so we seated ourselves, and then were never served even though the servers walked past us constantly. Very poor customer service, and very poor management. Parking: Good

About
Melt Bar and Grilled
Melt opened in September 2006 with one goal: To provide gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and as many beers as possible in a cool and comfortable environment. No bar food. No boring choices on tap. And something for everyone: its Cleveland-friendly, slightly kitschy, and memorable. Its relaxing, energetic, and fun. The menu has many staples, but its always changing. Theres new stuff to look at, and new stuff to try. Which is why Melt has only one major recurring problemits busy all the time! And no wonder: Melt specializes in one thing, and one thing only: that original goal mentioned above. This explains the regulars, even those wholl drive an hour to be here. Its an entitya familynot merely a restaurant. Actually, its more of an event.Melt Bar and Grilled is an independently owned and operated restaurant group based in Cleveland, Ohio. Melt was created in 2006 by owner/founder Matt Fish with the simple goal of providing great food and awesome craft beers in a very fun and unique atmosphere. Melt Bar and Grilled has grown from its humble small storefront beginnings to 7 full-service locations and 3 quick service locations with more organic growth planned. Melt continues to grow and prosper because of The Melt Family -the amazing staff and management team. Welcome to Melt and Thank you!
