The Vegan Club

The chix and waffles were awesome! The chicken was actually oyster mushrooms, with a great flavor and not too greasy. My girlfriend had fettuccine alfredo (served with Brussels sprouts and red pepper) and it was really good too. Id definitely recommend the restaurant, to vegans and non vegans alike.

Scrum-diddly-yum-yum! View me happy dancing lol Stop for lunch at this place and sat at the bar, seemed Black woman owned. The Apple Tart dessert, not sure if it was vegan, but it was bussin! I got the vegan crab cakes and it was extremely hot, a little too hot to enjoy but portions were great, couldn't finish it. I give it a 4/5 for those cakes but the vibe of this place is dope. Tasty tasty, flavorful. Limited parking, kind of confusing (I'm from Michigan) Vegetarian options: Very happy with selection and creativity

The Vegan Club is by far the best vegan restaurant it Cleveland. I've been an avid connoisseur of vegan food since 1990, and I've been to a lot of vegan restaurants throughout the country: this is absolutely one of the very best. The Vegan Club offers a complexity of flavors and textures that I've found no where else. The levels and layers of flavors had us all in culinary heaven. Really, I kept wondering how they are getting those flavors and textures: some kind of ingredient magic! I can't say enough about this food! Vegan or not, The Vegan Club is very worth the trip. And a note to those who think the service was slow: I really enjoyed the unrushed vibe. It reminded me of being in Italy, having time to settle in and enjoy conversation and food without a server constantly asking how you're doing as if they are rushing you out. Really, the vibe is great. Mellow and very relaxing. We felt well taken care of.

Food is good, vegan comfort food. Desserts are spectacular. There is an issue with their online order system that needs to be fixed. I placed an order for pick up before 830. Tried to call to check that someone would be there when I arrived at 9 (closing time) no answer. drove all the way over, the lights were out and the door was locked. The person counting money at the register ignored me. It was difficult to get a refund but I finally got in touch with someone who righted the situation citing a google order issue.A friend of mine sent a $50 gift card. I ordered online through toast tab. The total came to $48. I wanted to leave a $5 tip so in addition to the gift card I entered my credit card info-mistake. My "generosity" ended up costing me the full order amount. The gift card wasn't charged at all. I called multiple times and finally someone picked up who could not fix the issue. She told me the one who could fix it was running an errand and would be back soon. 40 minutes later I went in person to pick up my food and this person was not back but I was assured he would call me to correct the charge issue. I never got a call-I couldn't ever get through to anyone so I disputed the charge with my credit card. They responded to that. They denied the chargeback despite the fact that the problem is with their online ordering system. I will not go back and recommend ordering through a 3rd party if you are not dining in person. If you are dining in person expect to wait.
