        Hands down the best Thai restaurant in the area (which we found a bit surprising at first, given its unassuming location at the end of a strip of shopping malls in suburbia)! Everything served at Peppermint is fresh and packed full of flavor. Special shoutouts go to their deeply savory chicken satay, their rich and pungent curries, and their fried noodle dishes where sweet and salty and nutty and chewy flavors all mingle together in a magnificent balance. The staff meanwhile are all super friendly and helpful, the space is warm and welcoming, and while theres usually a crowd during peak hours, the table turnaround time is decently quick so wait times are reasonable. Nota bene for extreme chili lovers - while the menu has spice options from 0 (no spice) to 5 (Thai hot), the kitchen will go even hotter! You can ask for a heat level up to 100! I found 15 to be pleasurably painful, while 20 was about the limit above which I would have needed a few pints of coconut ice cream. You have been warned.
