My car which I purchased through these thieves was recently rear ended and totaled. Since I haven't paid it off yet they get the insurance check of $ 2300 dollars. So, I explained this to them that I can authorize them to get the said check and will it bring me current on my balance. They said no that I still would have to bring the account current. I owed for 8 weeks which is 680 bucks. Now this makes no sense to me at all. They'd rather get nothing than to bring me current on my account. So I told them that then they can come and pick up the car and that I'm done dealing with them. Who in their right mind would rather have nothing than 2300 bucks. If anyone is interested in buying a car from these thieves don't. It will be the worst mistake you will ever make. They will constantly harass you if you are late with a payment. Call you ever day and they will try and repo your car for being a few weeks late on a payment. You are better off catching a bus or using Uber.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS!! Our experience with Kane's Auto was great! Our experience thus far with Riveredge has been awful. We needed to get an extension on our 45 day tag because they didn't have paperwork done on time. We had to stalk them on the phone several times to get them to do their job. May 16th we were hit by another driver....who was cited for the accident....and when the drivers insurance company called Riveredge to explain the total loss on our vehicle, employee Mattie immediately said "oh my God! They (meaning us) totalled the car?!" I WAS ON THE PHONE AS SHE SAID THAT. Disgusted. Absolutely disgusted. No professionalism at all. We didn't ask for any of this to happen, this has totally interrupted our life. Her first words should have been, "are our clients ok?!" A little compassion goes a long way lady.....

Dont buy a car from KANE! i have never had an issue with this company a few times i was late on my payment just a few days maybe and they called like any v=company would and i payed as long as i communicated with them everything was well. yes the car was a piece of crap from kanes auto! never purchase from buy here pay here especially kane, but that neither their fault or kanes fault its mine for not conducting proper research and being patient when it came to purchasing a car. recently i traded the vehicle with Chevrolet and got a brand spanking new 2016 for less than what i purchased my jeep for, lesson learned that all. you live and you learn. but Riverside was always pleasant and patient with me.
