They will blatantly lie to you they are horrible to work with

Just dont deal with these people. 20 years, I paid the mortgage every month on time they made money on me. Roughly 9 years ago I got divorced had to buy my wife out of my home, was looking to redo my loan, went to the Mentor office, sat down with a woman, she said Ill get back with you in a few days. Ill call you in and discuss what were having to offer. None of that happened. I got a form letter in the mail, denying me. No offer at all nothing. Im sick and tired of hearing Mark Stefanski every morning on my radio act like hes for the little guy. He is not. Its all about greed. Try Citizens Bank they took me right in. No problem still with them. Good luck.

I recently closed a home mortgage with cash-out. Thier rates were competitive but their service was poor. Tenara our rep didn't return 2 important emails just prior to the closing. They charged us to close our HELOC loan without providing any prior notice and refused to waive the charge. Beware of this lender.

Been with the 20 years, called in to see if there was any way I could skip a monthly payment just for one month. I was told there was nothing they could do and just pay by the end of the month. But they will add late charges and give me a negative mark on my credit. Even after I called for help for just one month. I will never recommend them to anyone. This is not the first time I have had trouble with them. I wonder is the CEO aware of all the shady things going on in this bank. Or is it just the fact it's in a urban area and they do as they wish.
