Details below, but NEVER rent from Budget if you need a moving truck and have any expectations for customer service. They did not have my rental, never called me back as promised, hung up on me, and proceeded to overcharge for a larger vehicle than the one I rented that I personally had to coordinate 3 hours later between the pick-up location and Budget to acquire because of their mistakes. I made a reservation a week and a half in advance for a 12 foot moving truck for pickup on 6/30. My reservation was confirmed and the confirmation email was received. When we went to pick up the 12 foot truck, we were informed they have no vehicles available at all including the one I reserved. I called Budget directly, was put on hold and passed around multiple departments, and then finally was connected with someone who told us they would bump our issue to the inventory department. I was promised to receive a call back in the next 2 hours with accommodations. I never received a call. The pick-up location ended up having a cargo van returned early which did not fit all of our belongings. I had to personally coordinate between the pick-up location and Budget in order to even make the rental happen because Budget had no idea where any of their trucks or vans were despite confirming reservations. They are still charging us the price for a larger truck and refuse to discuss the price. When I explained that I did not understand why the smaller vehicle is the same price, the representative from Budget hung up on me. There is the disclaimer that the reservation is not a contract and is subject to change, but this comes with the promise of helping to make accommodations which did not happen. Additionally, their customer service is terrible and there is no communication between Budget and its pick-up locations. Avoid renting with Budget at all costs due to their inability to communicate, lack of respect for its customers, and inability to fulfill on their promises. I guess it isnt Budget if they arent overcharging you for their mistakes and refusing to explain why.

They failed to give us a Dollie. I asked for a refund cincerning this issue. Passed the buck to whoever rented the truck to us. I only gave a one star rating. In reality they get zero. They only have a two star rating as it was. Do not rent from these people!
