Assurance deserves more than 5 stars! I highly recommend this facility. The staff are very kind and considerate. My calls, texts and concerns were answered immediately. The patient was given the best care. In fact, she said if needs arise in the future, she asked that I please take her back to assurance! That speaks volumes in my book! I hear of other facilities where the care and staff are not up to par. Assurance proves that with the right management, the bar can be raised in patient care. I would give all who work there : the cooks, techs, nurse aids, nurses and up the ladder more than the 5 stars allowed for review. Thank you assurance! Great work you are doing!

My mother was sent there from a memory care facility. They are treated like prisoners with no rights, like they are criminals, not confused adults with dementia. Information was non existent after the first day. Treatment plan was never given to me. Communication is extremely poor, diffcult to get a phone answered, or set up an appointment to visit during their limited times.They sent her back to her facility 7 days later with no shoes, like she was some animal. Afterwards, they promised to send her shoes back to the facility, which never occurred, I finally went back to pick up the shoes myself 3 days later. Did not seem to be a very professional or responsive facility. Due to my mom's dementia, I really don't know what happened to her while she was there.

Do not allow your family member to be sent here!! It's as good as a death sentence. My dad and a uncle were sent there at different times and both came out in a lot worse shape than when they went in there and passed away shortly after they got out. I just found out my father in-law was sent there tonight and I hope and pray that he will come back in better shape. We were not informed until he was already on his way there from St. Andrews nursing home in Batesville.

Loved one came out and died 3 days later due to lack of care and appropriate treatment. The facility would not allow visitors. The family was never told of his decline. The family showed up 10 days later to the demise of their father.
