First of of all, our experience (May 2013) was exceptional, we still to this day get complimented on our beautiful photos (engagement and wedding) and truly had and amazing experience all around. But I was left WITHOUT WORDS when 7 and a half years after our wedding I went to access our original photos to make prints for a funeral memory board and could not access them on the laptop or backup zip drive! After dropping off both to a computer repair shop, I reached out to Ron Wood as a complete Hail Mary, not even sure I would receive a response. I was hoping against hope they could still access our originals and be willing to work out a charge to resend the photos if they were even still available, I would have paid anything. I heard back within AN HOUR on a SUNDAY with a download link to our original 3000 photos, FREE OF CHARGE. Someone you can trust and who will treat you fairly long after your wedding day is over (like 3 kids later) should mean a lot!

They are affordable which was nice. We went with them based on all the raving reviews on the Knot. That was a mistake. The photos were blurry and dark. Theyre supposed to be professionals and have high powered cameras to catch all the moments. They actually took photos of each other taking photos. They got like 4 photos of my flower girls coming down the aisle, of which most were blurry. I hate to be this person but I was so unhappy with our photos. Its not something that can be redone. Its one of the biggest days of our lives and we had hoped to document it beautifully. They shot a lot of things from terrible angles that they said looked great but when we looked back at our photos they were so unflattering. To top it all off they spelled my name wrong on the website. Katherine is not hard to spell.

It troubles me to write this review but I am so disappointed with Ron Wood Photography. It's sad when you get a good impression that you're being heard and understood at the consultation only to find out later that went out the window. They are a recommended vendor with The Signature Grand (FL) . I hired them for my daughter's wedding. For weddings there are no "do overs" . First issue is the handling of the payment(s) I expected a receipt for the final payment like the one I received for the deposit whether paid by check, cash or credit card. Paying sales tax or not doesn't determine whether you are given a proper receipt for services rendered. Second issue, I stated that I didn't want the photos publicly uploaded on the web but preferred the photos to be placed on a CD or USB. I explained at the consultation that I wanted something tangible that I still develop my photos the "old way". Third issue is not capturing the details for my daughter's wedding as I requested. There's a lot of photos but much is duplicates, triplicates, quadruples or more! of the same if not similar poses. Maybe just maybe if he was inside taking the photos of the reception instead of outside taking pictures of the bat mobile and costumes of the "Love Jen" festivities that was going on around the same time those details of my daughter's wedding could have been captured.
