I was trying to get a flu shot last weekend and they were in stock at this location. When I arrived the pharmacist was very distracted and took about 10-15 minutes to get my order. She then asked for my birthday twice (forgetting after she had asked me before). She then couldn't identify that my insurance would pay for the shot (I knew that it did). I was so taken aback that I called my insurance and then got frustrated with the machine and tried to go back to the counter to say that I would pay cash for it. She then asked for my birthday another two times because she had recycled me from the system. I then get around to calling my insurance today to see what the issue was and see how to be reimbursed for it. They told me the pharmacist had simply input my birthday wrong or else it would've been covered. I'm not sure if the pharmacist was tired or thought taking down birthdays was too administratively underneath her, but was very frustrating taking one hour to get a flu shot and then another 30 minutes to find out the problem and then another 30 minutes to write the reimbursement paperwork. Needless to say I won't be coming back.
