Clarkson Eyecare - Mariemont

Receptionists are great and I honestly feel bad that they have to work for this eye doctor. Issues started with my son's appointment a couple of weeks ago where Dr.Kuhlman stated that he grew out of a lazy eye that he clearly has not grown out of and an opthalmologist recommends surgery to correct. Then, I went in for an eye exam to get glasses for night driving and a contact prescription. He didn't do the contact exam though I had marked it on my paperwork and told me there's nothing that can be done for night driving... Just a sign of getting older (I'm 36). He was rude and judgemental because I mentioned getting contacts through Hubble and my prior glasses were from Zenni. I had fully intended to purchase glasses through the office, but after his unnecessary comments, me and my family of 5 will not return.

10 out of 10! I love the whole experience at Clarkson. Dr. Kuhlman is always thorough and very personable. The sales staff worked with my insurance plan to deliver the best pair of glasses at a fantastic price. Excellent attention to cleanliness and safety protocols all around!

A well oiled machine- staff was friendly, organized, knowledgable and efficient. Office was clean and comfortable- the exam was thorough and done in a timely manner- Dr. K was great., well schooled, had a comfortable, caring, professional manner, took his time with me, answering all questions. Clarkson Eyecare in Mariemont has all the latest tech, bells and whistles yet reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kuhlman is just wonderful-- while I could walk to several other optometrists and ophthalmologists on my own street, I choose to drive to Mariemont because he's so thorough, pleasant, helpful, and updated with the newest and best technology to make sure my vision is the best it can be. His bedside manner is one of the best I've encountered.
